Requirements
Valid Driving Record
Applicants must hold a valid U.S. driver’s license and have at least two years of U.S. driving history. Applicants must also meet the driving-record requirements applicable to Golden Lane and the transportation opportunities they intend to perform. Moving violations, license points, at-fault accidents, suspensions, revocations, or other motor-vehicle-record issues may affect eligibility.
Age - Background & Qualification
Applicants must meet applicable age, licensing, insurance, and vehicle-eligibility requirements. Where required for vehicle or insurance eligibility, chauffeurs must be at least 25 years old.
Qualified applicants must successfully complete any required background, motor-vehicle-record, identity, drug-screening, transportation-provider, and platform qualification processes before final approval.
English Communication & Attire
pplicants must be able to communicate clearly and professionally in English with guests, dispatch, transportation partners, and support teams, and must be able to understand written and verbal ride instructions.
For applicable chauffeur assignments, Golden Lane’s professional attire standard includes a black suit, white dress shirt, black tie, and polished black Oxford-style dress shoes. Professional grooming, cleanliness, and presentation are required at all times while performing chauffeur services.
Vehicle Responsibility
Chauffeurs are responsible for proper vehicle care during approved use. Applicable fuel or electric charging responsibilities are defined in the written agreement.
Operating Locations
Vehicle pickup and return may be coordinated through Golden Lane operating locations in the Los Angeles / LAX area and Irvine / Orange County. Location availability and vehicle assignments may vary.
Platform Eligibility
Eligibility for certain opportunities may depend on the chauffeur’s current or previous status with applicable third-party platforms and transportation networks.
Contractual Structure
Golden Lane’s current chauffeur program is intended to operate through written contractual arrangements with independent professional chauffeurs. Specific rights, responsibilities, compensation, vehicle-access terms, and legal classification are governed by the applicable agreement and applicable law.
